Shenay, thanks for remembering your friend Sarah on her 19th birthday. I have to admit that, living in the middle of the United States, I don't know anything about netball. However, I looked it up, and (as someone who spent much of his youth playing basketball) I say that any game that involves a ball and a basket has to be a good game. Here's your poem.

Sarah, you love netball and you will become a pro
According to Shenay, who really should know

Because, now that you're turning (or just turned) nineteen
It's time you realized just what you mean

To Shenay, who says that for time without end
You will be her very best friend

Her English friend, if you don't mind
(Not to be confused with the non-English kind)

So have a good laugh, or even two
As you celebrate nineteen with a friend always true.
